In a periscope WHAT is the angle of the mirror placed , because of which the reflection is parellal?

You can see in the diagram, both the mirrors are placed parallel to each other and they are aligned at 450 with the horizontal so that the ray entering the periscope and the ray coming out of the periscope are parallel.
