But,ultimately ,the good sense prevailed on white government presidentF.W de Klark .He agreed to hold election 27 April ,1994.As a result of these elections ,Dr Nelson Mandela won the election and he became the first president of independent South Africa.Hence White government give up their rule.

As the protests are increased by the black people, the government realised that they could no longer keep the blacks under their rule through repression. The white regime changed its policies. Discriminatory laws were repealed.Ban on political parties and restrictions on the media were lifted.
