We know that each side of the rhombus are equal
So, AB = BC = CD = AD
In ∆ABD,     AB = AD⇒∠ADB = ∠ABD  Angles opposite to equal sides are equal⇒∠ABD = xIn ∆ABD,∠ADB + ∠ABD + ∠A = 180°  Angle sum property⇒x+x+80° = 180°⇒x = 50°Now, adjacent angles of rhombus are supplementary
So, ∠A + ∠D = 180°⇒80° + x + y = 180°⇒80°+50°+y = 180°⇒y = 50°
