In the poem why the lover is sighing like furnace?

Sighing like a furnace is a simile in the poem which describes the stage when a person grows to become a lover. He is weary and sorrowful because he is caught in the web of love. He sings ballads for his mistress. Hope this describes the condition of the lover.

The poet explains that on attaining adolescence, men fall in love. The passion of love becomes active like heat generated in a furnace. However, this surging passion also declines after crossing a certain point of time.The lover here is full of passion and emotion.

as we know that the third stage is of a lover. when a lover falls in love he becomes romantic expressive poetic thoughtful imaginative. he uses to write poems compared  to his beloved. but when he fails in his love he sighs like a furnace wid the emotions
