In the Thar desert the day temperature may rise to 50 C , and drop down to near 15C the same night. On the other hand there is hardly any difference in day and night temperatures in the Andaman and Nicobar island or in Kerala. Why ?

kerala and andaman and nicobar islands are affected by the sea breeze which keeps the land temperatures even. whereas in the thar desert , it is the property of sand to cool down fast and even heat up fast thus such a huge difference in the temperatures
