In tobacco plants the male gametes have 24 chromosomes .what is the number of chromosomes in female gametes ? Explain

Females also have the same no. of chromosomes that is 24.
But the 24th chromosome in both male and female is different.
Males have x and y chromosomes. while females have x and x.
The 24th chromosomes are gender chromosomes which determine the gender of the offspring.
