Is Amoeba an example of both binary fission and multiple fission?

Amoeba is the example of both multiple and binary fission. During favourable condition it divides into 2 daughter cells by binary fission whereas during unfavourable conditions it develop a sort of wall called cyst inside which the nucleus divides manier times followed by surrounding of cytoplasm around each nucleus, when favourable conditions return the cyst breaks and many cells are produced from single amoeba. therefore it is also an example of multiple fission.

amoeba only undergoes binary fission but as you see yeast both binary fission and budding does happen

iam sorry!!! i didnt take the question properly. binary fission takes place only in single celled organisms such as amoeba. whearas multiple fission takes place in organisms such as malarial parasite and plasmodium where they start dividing into many daughter cells simuntaneously by multiple fission
