Is it good to have political competition?

 No, it is not good to have political competition as :

1) It creates a sense of disunity & factionalism in locality.

2)  Different political parties & leaders often level allegations against one another.

3)  Parties & candidates often use dirty tricks to win elections.

4)  This pressure to win electoral fights does not allow sensible long term policies to be formulated.

It is good to have political competition bcoz:

i) leaders have to work for the people,if they don't work nxt time people won't elect the same leader.

ii) it also makes leaders accountable.

But, political competition also has few disadvantages as Shivangi has told.
