2) There are over 500 different Adivasi groups in India each having different languages and following a different culture and religion.
3) The Adivasis are not homogenous and certain dialects and languages may be lost forever, if not protected. Often they are found in the areas of heavy mining (e.g. Orissa alone has more than 60 tribal groups).
