no it is not possible. 2 equal and opposite forces are required for the same. These forces are called couplet forces

no.it is impossible to open a pen ca with one finger because two fingers produce enough frictional force to produce required amount of torque. if we try to open the pen cap with one finger we can't succeed as one finger alone doesnt produce enough frictional force to produce required amount of torque.
