Make up a Silly Sentence using the first letter of each planet in order:
  • My Very Easy Method Just Speeded Up Naming Planets.
  • My Very Educated (or Elegant) Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas (or Peas or Pies)!
  • OR - My Very Elegant Mother Just Served Us Noodles (if you leave off Pluto!)
     
This gives you a list in order reminding you that the plants are

MERCURY VENUS EARTH MARS JUPITER SATURN URANUS NEPTUNE (and maybe PLUTO)

You can also use a rhyming method where you make up a rhyme or sing the names to the tune of a song like "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" (or any song).
