meaning/definition of jagir, zat, sawar, sulh-i-kul, primogeniture, coparcenary, zabt, zamindar

Jagir: the salaries that were given to mansabdars as revenue assignments.

zat: its a value given to a rank. The higher the zat the higher the rank.

sawar: sawar is the military responsibility of a mansabdar or the number of  horses a mansabdar posseses

sulh-i-kul: it is the ideology of akbar that all the ideologies of other religions shall be respected (universal peace)

primogeniture: the transfer of the fathers property to his eldest son, the distribution of fathers property among all his sons equally is called primogeniture and coparcenary respectively.

zabt: akbars minister todar mal, noted all the production of the empire, then according to that taxes were foxed this wa s called zabt.

zamindar: he was also known as land lord or iqtadar or a mansabdar.
