melting of wax is a physical change whereas burning of candle is a chemical change why?

when wax melts it changes into liquid form and it can again be brought into the same state that's why it is a physical change. Whereas when a candle burns the thread at the top as well as some wax is burnt that's why it is a chemical change.

melting of wax is a physical change as it can be converted back into solid form by cooling but in burning of candle the wax tends to convert into smoke which is a chemical change and cannot be reversed back to its original form.
