Please describe the difference between sliding friction and rolling friction with examples.Which friction is applied on moving car wheel?

sliding friction- the force that opposes the motion of two surfaces sliding past each other
rolling friction- the friction between a rolling object and the surface it rolls on

rolling friction is applied on on moving car wheel .....................

When one object moves slowly but continously over other it is known as Sliding Friction.

When an object rolls over other object like a wheel it is called as Rolling friction . it is easier to roll rather slide because rolling friction is lessser than sliding friction. Ex- Airport bags work on this principal only.

examples --- rolling friction- riding your bike or skateboard

sliding friction-cartlige against your bone
