From Guru Kripa Divine Grace Public School, added an answer, on 4/3/13

Area of rhombus-(1/2*product of diagonals)

Area of right angle-(1/2*product of legs)

Area of equilateral triangle with side a-(sqrt of3/4*a*a)     (note:sqrt is square root and here sqrt is of 3 not 3/4)

Area of isoceles triangle with base b and side a-1/2*b*sqrt a*a-b*b/4      (note:here sqrt is on whole a*a*-b*b/4)

Area of four walls of a room- [2(l+b)*h]

Hope it helps!

perimeter:

rectangle= 2(l+b)  square: 4a  you can find for other shapes by adding the values on all sides

area:

square: L square  rectangle:b multiplied by h

i have given for the cmmon shapes used....
