Ans(a) Voluntary actions are those which are under consious control. The actions which are performed by us knowingly are the voluntary actions. 
Somatic nervous system(which is a part of peripheral nervous system controls voluntary actions.
Examples- Dancing, writing.

Involuntary actions are those are not under consious control. The actions which are performed by us unknowingly are called involuntary actions. It includes the reflex actions.
Autonomic nervous systemcontrols the in voluntary actions.
Examples- heartbeat, respiration

Both type of actions are necessary for proper functioning of the body.

The nervous system which is comprise of and controlled by nerves is known as pheripheral nervous system. The two components of PNS are : 1) cranial nervous system :- its origin is brain, that means these nerves are branched in different part of body from the brain they are 12 pairs. 2) spinal nervous system :- these nerves are originated and branched from the spinal cord, they are 32 pairs.
