Jerome K. Jerome usually called Jim by his friends is a perfect guide for the travellers as he has knowledge of all the places with all the incidents happened at the respective place .He is a sort of man who doesn 't seem to be doing any work but also thinks that he is doing more work than he should do. He is a great historian as he has knowledge about all places and their history. His talent of relating stories with the incidents happened in thier journey is one of the greatest talent that he has. Being a great humourist he always seems to be clean as for bath he tries he tries to go near to the bitterly cold water. He is a practical person And loves food to great extent.

George is one the most matured and also experienced, as seem through his words, between all the three. He is of a practical nature & seems to be a kind of serious as in the whole story. He also has a nice knowledge of places. He had a bad habbit too of getting up of late in the morning but had got up early at the house of certain Mrs. Gippings. He love s to play banjo but is discouraged both by his friends & family . He is generous and also a good cook as he prepared a good supper an Irish stew. He although had the same thought about the work as all the three had but does the perfectly the work if he does.

Harris was one among the three friends. He was a thorough drunker and didn 't seem to like the Irish stew.He was expert in giving a nick name to others. He didn 't seem to to think about others but just go on doing waht he wants. He also didn 't like to walk for a longer period of time but knew can adjust anywhere if he wants which he reflected in the the stag & the manor house. He seems to love music but was himself not a good singer and discouraged the amateurs.
