Q - Is it good to have political competitions? give reasons........ plz i'ts really urgent. i'll surely give thumbs up for correct answer.

It is not good to have elctoral competition because:

1. Electoral competition creates a sense of disunity  and factionalism in every locality.

2.Different political parties and leaders often level allegations against each other.

3. Parties often use dirty tricks to win elections.

4. The pressure to win elections often prevents sensible long term policies from being formulated.

It is good to have political competition as :-

1. Regular electoral competition provides incentives to political parties and leaders.

2. They know that if they raise issues that people want to be raised, their popularity and chances of victory will increase in the next elections. But if they fail to satisfy the voters with their work they will not be able to win again.

3. If a political party is motivated only by the desire to be in power, even then it will be forced to serve then peeple.

It is not good to have political competition as :-

1. It created a sense of disunity and factionalism in every locality.

2. It creates party politics.

3. Different political parties and leaders often level allegations against one another.

4. Parties and candidates often use dirty tricks to win elections.

5. The pressure to electoral fights doesn't allow sensible long term policies to be formed.

6. Many good people who may wish to serve the people and the country don't enter politics because they don't want to be dragged into this unhealthy competition.
