since light consists of a both electric and magnetic vectors so why after polarisation only electric vectors are restricted to travell in one plane why not magnetic field??? please explain as fast as possible
This is convention, Electric field vector in EM wave can make the electrons to oscillate when they are at rest.
but magnetic field can not make the electrons to oscillate or move, this is the reason behind.
