state flemings left hand rule

According to Fleming 's left-hand rule:Hold the forefinger, the center finger and the thumb of left hand at right angles to one another. Adjust fingers in such a way that the forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field and center finger points in the direction of current, then the direction in which the thumb points, gives the direction of force acting on the conductor.

According to Fleming 's right hand rule:Hold the thumb, the forefinger and the center finger of right hand at right angles to one another. Adjust fingers in such a way that forefinger points in the direction of magnetic field, the thumb points in the direction of motion of conductor, then the direction in which center finger points, gives the direction of induced current in the conductor.

From the above we see that the left hand rule determines the direction of force acting on a current carrying wire placed in a magnetic field, whereas right hand rule gives the direction of induced current produced in a straight conductor moving in a magnetic field.

Flemings left hand ruleThis rule states that if you stretch the thumb, index finger, and middle finger of your left hand such that they are mutually perpendicular to each other, then your index finger represents the direction of the field, the middle finger represents the direction of the current, and the thumb represents the direction of the force experienced by the conductor.

A better abbereviation to remember it in the Thumb-Index-Middle Finger order is Father-Mother-Children which respectively stands for Direction of Force-Magnetic field-Current

according to fleming left hand rule , if we strecth the fingers of left hand such that they r mutually perpendicular to each other then the forefinger points in the direction of magnetic feild , middle finger shows the direction of the current and the thumb indicates the direction of force on the conductor.

Fleming's Left Hand Rule. It is found that whenever an current carrying conductor is placed inside a magnetic field, a force acts on the conductor, in a direction perpendicular to both the directions of the current and the magnetic field.
