state two advantages of (H2

O2) fuel cell over ordinary cell.

answer it fastly!!!!!

Hydrogen fuel, or hydrogen-oxygen fuel, has many benefits over other fuel forms, making it a potential leader in alternative fuel technology. Honda makes a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle called the FCX Clarity that is available in limited numbers in Southern California, and they have plans to roll out more as hydrogen refueling stations become more prevalent.

Emissions

  • When looking at the advantages of hydrogen fuel, one of the most commonly known benefits is that cars using this fuel emit only water vapor from the tail pipe. This water then evaporates back into the air, completing a cycle. This is one of the most desirable benefits of using hydrogen fuel.

Domestic Energy Sources

  • Another benefit of hydrogen fuel is that it can be generated through all domestic resources. Produced by using the process of running an electric current through water, called electrolysis, hydrogen fuel can be created with minimal environmental impact thanks to wind and solar powered generators. This lessens dependency on oil and increases the need for more wind and solar-powered energy collectors.

Domestic Hydrogen Sources

  • Hydrogen fuel can be made from nonpotable water sources such as wastewater sludge or seawater. This allows us to tap into resources that are otherwise being underutilized instead of depleting drinking water resources.

Efficiency

  • Gasoline is less efficient than hydrogen fuel. Hydrogen has a higher energy density per unit of mass than gasoline, which means that cars will be able to travel farther on the same amount of fuel. Or travel the same distance on a smaller amount of fuel, which could lead to smaller fuel tanks and roomier vehicles. It is estimated that hydrogen-fueled vehicles can travel at least twice the distance of a regular car running on gasoline using the same amount of fuel.

Cost

  • Because hydrogen fuel potentially could be generated through resources that are either waste products or low cost, the cost of producing the fuel would decrease over time, unlike oil prices, which increase with low supplies and high demand. Although the current cost per gallon for hydrogen fuel is between $6 and $8 per gallon, the U.S. government is working to be able to produce it for $2 to $3 per gallon by 2015, which puts it more in the range of regular gasoline prices.
