A short summary can be this that : The Solitary Reaper is a poem written by William Wordsworth . In this poem he describes about a young reaper's melancholic song who is working all alone in field. Though the poet could not understand the dialect of her song but tries to gauge it by her expressions . The poet loves the song and as he goes away from that place but he could still listen the song as he bore it into his heart.
