Dear Diary,
I am extremely disappointed in the way my teacher reacted to my friendship with my best friend Kalam!
As usual, Kalam and I were sitting together sharing our tiffin when our Hindi teacher walked into the class. He admonished me immediately and said there were other boys of X faith in the class and I should sit with one of them. He ordered me to sit with another classmate. Kalam and I were shocked that he still believed in such narrow-minded views. We were crest-fallen. But, we have decide to discuss the matter with the Principal tomorrow who is a progressive thinker. I am sure he will talk sense into the Hindi teacher.
I am eagerly waiting for tomorrow morning so that I can again sit with my buddy in class.
