Given, length of cylindrical shaped barrel = 7 cm Diameter of barrel $= 5 mm = \frac{5}{10} cm$ âˆ´ Radius of barrel $= \frac{5}{20} = \frac{1}{4} cm$ Volume of cylindrical barrel = Ï€r2h $= \frac{22}{7} \times (\frac{1}{4})^{2} \times 7$ =1 375 cm3 Now, volume of ink in the bottle $= {\frac{1}{5}}^{th}$ of (1 litre) $= \frac{1}{5} litre = \frac{1000}{5} {cm}^{3} [∵ 1 litre = 1000 {cm}^{3}]$ = 200 cm3 Now, one full barrel can write 330 words â‡’ 1 375 cm3 of ink write 330 words $∴ 200 {cm}^{3} of ink can write = \frac{330}{1 375} \times 200 words$ = 48000 words
