artisans, semi skilled workers like soldiers, casual labourers
etc

2) These work groups found jobs in industries
such as dock yards, clothing sector, footwear industry, wood and
furniture manufacturers, engineering works, printing, makers of
surgical instruments, watches etc

3) At the time of World War I London started
producing motor cars and electrical goods which resulted in the
increase of factories
