The probability of guessing the correct answer to a certain question is x/3.If the probability ofnot guessing the correct answer is 5x/3, then find the value of x. plz meritnation experts help me tomorrow is my exam

we know that, sum of the probability of any event is 1
so, probability of guessing correct ans + probability of not guessing correct ans = 1
i.e  x/3 + 5x/3 = 1
i.e. 6x/3 = 1
i.e. x = 1/2
therefore the value of x is 1/2

6x/3 = 1
6x = 1 x 3
6x = 3
x = 3/6
x = 1/2
x = 0.5
