The sum of two integers is -80. If one of the integers is -90,then find the other. I need the answer with calculation!!!!!!

Let the first no. be x = -90
And second no. be y
ATQ:
x + y = -80
-90 + y = -80
y = -80 + 90
y= 10 (ans)

  • 3
we should add both the integers and in last put a negative sign

  • -1
-71

the  answer is -71

  • -1
if you subtract -80 -  -9= -71
  • 1
Sum of two numbers is -80.
One number is -90. Then we have to find the other.
Let the other number be x.
Then,
 -90 + x = -80
Transpose -90 to RHS,
x = -80 + 90
x = 10.
Therefore, the second integer will be 10.
