the  trees  can  not  move  it  can  not  do  things  like  human  being  and  animals do  so  how  can  you  say  it  is a  living  thing

Trees have all characteristics which are required to be placed in living things like respiration, reproduction, nutrition, breathing, growth and they can respond to external stimulus also. Hence, they are placed under living things.
