The unveiling of the stranger at Hall’s Inn was highly dramatic. Elucidate.

Mr and Mrs. Hall were surprised to see the most extraordinary thing happen when they opened the door to the stranger's room. The bed-clothes gathered themselves together, leapt up suddenly into a sort of peak and then jumped headlong over the bottom rail. It seemed as if a hand had clutched them in the center and flung them aside. Immediately after, the stranger's hat hopped off the bed-post and dashed straight at Mrs. Hall's face. Then as swiftly came the sponge from the washstand, next the chair, flinging the stranger's coat and trousers carelessly aside. A dry laughter in the voice of the stranger rang out loud and then the chair was hurled at Mrs. Hall, taking aim at her for a moment and charging at her. The door slammed violently and was locked from inside. The chair and bed seemed to execute a dance of triumph for a moment and then everything became deathly still. Mrs. Hall was left in a fainting condition in her husband's arms on the landing and with great difficulty, the latter and Millie, who had been roused by Mrs. Hall's scream of alarm, managed to get her downstairs and apply restoratives to revive her.
