What are complex salts, compound salts and mixed salts.please explain with examples.....

A salt is a compound formed by the neutralisation reaction of an acid and a base. For example, sodium chloride (NaCl), silver nitrate (AgNO3), etc. It dissociates forming a positive ion other than hydrogen ion and a negative ion other than hydroxyl ion.

A mixed salt is a salt which contains two or more acidic or basic radicals other than H+ (aq) or OH- ion (aq). For example NaKSO4, Ca(OCl)Cl etc

A complex salt is like a double salt and is formed by the crystallisation from saturated salt solutions of two simple salts. However, on dissolving in water, it furnishes one simple ion and another complex ion. For example : Na[Ag(CN)2]. It dissociates as follows :

 Na[Ag(CN)2] → Na+ + [Ag(CN)2]-1
