what are disadvantages of sundial clocks ?

  1. A sundial doesn't work at night 
  2. A sundial doesn't work when the sun is hidden - by clouds, buildings, etc. 
  3. A sundial only works at the latitude it is designed for - a sundial built for Ecuador woudl not be accurate in New Zealand.

what are the main cons of a sundial apart from the fact that it does not work at night or when the sun is covered by clouds?
