What are human induced disasters and how do we prevent or stop them?

Human induced disasters include man-made disasters like nuclear meltdowns, biological warfare, over exploitation of natural resources, war, terrorism, deforestation, global warming due to excessive use of fossil fuels. 

Effective government policies and extensive public outreach and awareness programmes are answers to this problem. People should contribute individually towards mitigating this human induced disasters. Any act of man that is against the natural harmony or balance should be considered as an effort towards human induced disaster as they will all add up to a major disastrous event like flood, glacier meltdown or droughts.
