what are life processes

 All those processes occurring inside an organisms body which help an organism to live and sustain its population are called as life processes. These processes include digestion, excretion, reproduction etc.

All the organisms perform some basic functions to keep themselves alive. The basic functions performed by living organisms to maintain their life on this earth are called Life Processes.The basic life proceeses common to all living organisms are: Nutrition and Respiration, Transportation and Excretion, Control and Coordination, Growth, and Movement and Reproduction.
