what are the differences between congenital and acquired diseases ? give examples

Dear Student,

Congenital disorder: A congenital disease is the disease that  you are born with, and it could be inherited or not. Eg. sickle cell anemia

Acquired disorder: The disorder that is not present at birth, but  is developed by an individual in response to the environment and not subject to hereditary transmission. Eg. diabetes

Hope this helps.

Cheers !!
