what  are the methods of preparation of acids and bases??

There are different methods for the preparation of different acids. For example, Contact process is used for the preparation of sulphuric acid, Ostwald process is used for nitric acid etc.

There are various methods for the preparation of bases.

·  Reaction of oxygen with metals to form metal oxide

·  Thermal decomposition of carbonates

·  By double decomposition reaction

·  By dissolving basic oxides in water
