What are the properties of an image formed on a plane mirror?

Hi,

1. The image formed on  plane mirror is erect, same size of the object, laterally inverted and virtual i.e they can’t be caught on a screen.

2. Types of curved mirrors: 1) Convex 2) Concave

Convex mirror:

Image is Virtual, upright, and reduced for all positions of object

Concave mirror:

Let

S = Object distance

F = Focal length

S < F : Virtual, upright, magnified

S = F : No formation of image

F < S < 2 F : Real, inverted, magnifiied

3. convex lens

-real or virtual (depending on position of the object)

-enlarged

-inverted if real and erect if virtual

-on the other side of the lens

Concave lens

-virtual

-erect

-diminished

-on the same side as that of the object

I CAN SUGGEST MORE DAVID,

THE IMAGE IS: VIRTUAL,ERECT,LATERALLY INVERTED,FORMED BEHIND THE MIRROR,IS AT THE SAME DISTANCE BEHIND THE MIRROR EQUAL TO THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE OBJECT AND THE MIRROR AND IS OF THE SAME SIZE OF THE OBJECT.

IT IS ERECT, IMAGE FORMED BEHIND THE MIRROR IS OF THE SAME SIZE AS THE OBJECT
