what do we mean by steady state current flow? explain in details giving examples

Steady state of current is obtained by applying a constant electric field that results in a stationary current flow. Thus, Steady state condition of current is a state of constant current flow.
A circuit is in the steady state when the current at each point in the circuit is constant (does not change with time). In the steady state, the charge (or current) flowing into any point in the circuit has to equal the charge (or current) flowing out.
Example-The flow of electricity through a network could be in a steady state because there is a constant flow of electricity.
