What do you understand by the term "all persons are equal before law"?Why do you think it is important in a democracy?

All persons are equal before law"is the rule of law which states that every person in the country is being abided by the constitution and no person is made to suffer except for the breach of law or according to the procedure laid down in the constitution.It is imp in any democracy because it prevents any arising disputes among its citizens and helps in maintanance of peace and preventing wars raising its economy and  development.
