what impression do you form about dr. sadao as a man and as a surgeon on your reading the chapter 'the enemy'

as a man, sadao understands that tom must be given to the police and that helping him woud not be correct..but as a surgeon he cant not treat an injured man. he thinks that helping every injured man is his duty as a surgeon and so he does help tom.
