what is bracteate?

Bracts are tiny leaf-like appendages found at the base of the pedicel. The flowers that have bracts are called bracteate while those that lack bracts are called ebracteate.

Bracts are reduced form of sepals found at base of pedicle.

The flower having bracts are called bracteate..
