A polygon is a closed figure made up of 3 or more line segments. 

A quadrilateral is a special type of polygon, where the number of sides is 4.

POLYGON - A SIMPLE CLOSED CURVE MADE UP OF THREE OR MORE LINE SEGMENTS IS CALLED A POLYGON.EXAMPLE- TRIANGLE,HEXAGON,PENTAGON.

A QUADRILATERAL IS ALSO A POLYGON MADE  UP OF FOUR LINE SEGMENTS COMBINATION.

Well we all know that these are types of shapes but… Whats the difference between them?
A polygon is a closed plane figure bounded by straight sides. Now in Kid terms that is a closed shape that has all straight side. What is a quadirlateral though… it is any four sided polygon.
