Erect Image:-Images are formed  same as objects i.e. straight are called erect images.

Virtual image:- All the images formed which we cannot trace them on a screen are virtual images.

Diminished Image:- If the size of image is less than the object size. Then it is called diminished image.

 erect: the image is not upsidedown but is just as the object is ....

Virtual and erect means a clear and stright image. It cannot be odtained on the screen.

Diminished further means that the image size is smaller than the object size.
