what is meant by miscible and immiscible liquids ? i want in simple english

Miscible solutions or liquids are those which mix with each other to form a homogeneous solution for ex: Milk and water while the immiscible solutions or liquids are that which do not mix with each other to form a homogeneous solution but it forms a two phase solution. Ex: oil floats over water and does not mix.
