what is pseudo solid

Pseudo-solid- are solids which are considered to be solid though they resembles in many respects liquid. They flow very slowly at room temperature and are considered as super cooled liquids. Amorphous solids are considered to be pseudo solid for e.g. Glass. Glass flows down as liquids (very slowly) because of it glass window panes of ancient monuments are found to be thicker at bottom.

 Pseudo solid is the solid which has a property of liquid.eg a glass it is a solid but actually when you keep glass for a longer time you can see that the base has got bit thikker than the top dis is bcoz the material flows like a liquid in a glass but its very slow process....

Pseudo solids are the super-cooled liquids which act as solid but are actually not. Pseudo solids are also referred as amorphous solid. to see detailed prop. of pseudo solid you may refer N.C.E.R.T. book of class 12 ,part - 1, lesson 1 , section 1.1 - 1.4.
