what is Q = m x c x t ?

Hi,
It is the formula which relates amount of with the change in temperature
Q=m × C × T
Where, Q=amount of heat lost or gained,
C=specific heat i.e. the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of the body by 1˚C,
T=change in temperature.
Hope this helps,
Good luck.

This formula tells us about the mechanical Eqivalence of Heat.

Q=m x C x T

Q = amount of heat gained or lost

C = Specific heat capacity i.e., the amount of heat required to raise the temperture of a unit mass by 1 degree celcius

T = Theta i.e. the change in temperature
