what is soliloquy and what is monologue
A soliloquy is the speech by a character given to oneself. A soliloquy is the part where an actor is thinking aloud his inner thoughts. It is meant only for the audience and other actors on stage cannot hear it.
Whereas, a monologue is a speech given by an actor addressed directly to the audience. Others may or may not be aware of it.
