·  Universal indicator is a mixture of methyl red, α naphtholphthalein, thymolphthalein, phenolphthalein and bromothymol blue. Universal indicator gives different colours at different pH. The pH range of universal indicator is 4 to 11.for e.g. at pH =4, it gives red colour and at 10,it gives blue violet colour, etc.

·  No, happy dent doesn’t make the teeth whiter. Basically any mint has the action to increase the pH  .after eating something, the food start decaying in our mouth and hence makes the mouth medium acidic which is essential for the growth if germs. Eating mint chewing gum merely increase the pH and thus keeps the mouth medium neutral.
