What is the difference between gulmohar and hibiscus?

Gulmohar is a flowering plant which belongs to family Fabaceae whereas Hibiscus, commonly known as china rose belongs to family Malvaceae. The leaves of Gulmohar are compound  fern like ornamental leaves whereas hibiscus has mainly simple leaf. Flowers of Hibiscus can be of many colours with 5 or more petals . The flowers in gulmohar have generally 5 petals with 4-5 colours .
