what is the difference between hydropower energy and tidal energy.

Hi Bhavya!

Hydropower is the power derived from the force of moving water. The conventional method of hydroelectric power plant is using dams. Tidal power is a sub-class of hydro power. In tidal power generators, the energy is harnessed from the tides in the horizontal direction.
