Differences between open and closed type vascular bundles are as follows:
Open vascular bundle | Closed vascular bundle |
Vascular cambium is present in between xylem and phloem in vascular bundle. | No cambium is present |
It is capable of secondary growth | It is not capable of secondary growth. |
It is present in dicots | It is present in monocots |
